The Dr. Phillips Center wedding of Autumn and Jacob was beyond epic. Not only did we have the whole venue to ourselves due to Covid, my team and I pulled off an amazing same day edit that the wedding couple had no idea we were doing.

HOW DID YOU AND JACOB MEET?
“Jacob and I were both working as college interns in the student ministry at our church.”
HOW DID JACOB PROPOSE?
“He played it off well! He had a friend of ours with her own photography business text me and ask if me and Jacob would be available to do a couples shoot for her page.”
TELL US ABOUT YOUR VISION
“It’s hard to remember that far back, but i originally thought about greenery EVERYWHERE. I did imagine the same color scheme that we had (green, gold, and white) though. Once I started looking at venues and talking to planners, I had a better idea of what direction I wanted to take it.”
WHAT ABOUT THE COLOR THEME FOR YOUR DR. PHILLIPS CENTER WEDDING?
“Green gold and white were the main colors. I described the theme as “woodsy glam”. Basically a woodsy theme without a country feel, no browns at all.”
GIMME THE DEETS!
“My dress was by Carolina Herrera. It was a silk strapless dress with a mermaid fit. It was classic but had elements of high fashion in the mismatched cuts on the back of the dress along with the shear triangle cut out and ruffle look on the front. A had a lot of different flowers, but they were all white when mixed in some silver dollar eucalyptus along with other greenery.
I loved our cake. I had each tier done in a different texture with a gold foil going around two sides. Per Italian tradition, our favors were Jordan almonds and we also had each guests name carved in wood as part of their table setting.”
WHAT UNIQUE ELEMENTS DID YOU INCLUDE?
“We included disposable cameras at every table. I highly recommend this, the pictures were so genuine and fun!”
SUM UP YOUR WEDDING DAY
“It was so classic and elegant but not at all boring. The guests danced the whole night and everyone was so into the band. Everyone was so excited to talk to one another because we haven’t seen each other much with Covid!”
FAVORITE MOMENT OF YOUR DR. PHILLIPS CENTER WEDDING?
“It’s hard to choose a favorite, but one of the best moments of the night was everyone dancing on the dance floor. It was all of our friends and their parents and it was just really sweet to see that truly everyone there was having an amazing time.”
WHAT IS A PIECE OF ADVICE THAT YOU WOULD GIVE ENGAGED COUPLES?
“Book the venue early! I was shocked at how many people were fighting for my same day, so far in advance. Some other venues I looked at were booked almost 2 years in advance.”
