Caralyn and Neil met on the dating app, Tinder, in 2016. They decided to get married and have a Grand Bohemian wedding after a 2.5 year engagement. They had a courthouse elopement in 2020, but they wanted to have a real wedding with all of their friends and family. Caralyn’s mother got in touch with me originally and I loved getting to know the whole family.
The Grand Bohemian Hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown Orlando. The sun came into the bridal suite very strongly, so we got some really nice high contrast shots during preps. The ceremony was held on the pool deck. There was a large covering over the guests to keep the sun off their faces.
The reception for their Grand Bohemian Hotel wedding was amazing. One of the highlights was one of the groomsmen entering the ballroom during introductions on kid’s tricycle. During the speeches, Caralyn’s dad played guitar and sang a couple songs. Then during the open dance, UCF’s mascot, Knightro (named after the UCF Knights)
