I previously sat down with Akili Phillips, the brand manager at RW Brands, for a Q&A about Luxmore Grande Estate. This time around we covered Cypress Grove Estate House.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE WEDDING INDUSTRY?
After years in the corporate world I wanted to try something new. First wedding planning, then venues, then event rentals. I fell in love with celebrating and creating with my clients. RW Brands (Cypress Grove Estate House, Luxmore Grande Estate and Cypres Grove) has a team of brand managers who share my love of service, style and creating moments of joy.

Our very first wedding. This family trusted us to be open when they booked, with contractor delays and fire sprinklers, we didn’t get our occupancy license BUT we were granted a temporary one to proceed with their event. Watching the reaction of the family and friends throughout the evening, let us know we were on the right track to have one of the most sought after venues in Central Florida!
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE VENUE TO SOMEONE WHO IS UNFAMILIAR WITH IT?
Cypress Grove Estate House is a historic home on picturesque grounds on Lake Jessimine. Our venue is perfect for intimate and large scale events. Couples get married at our gazebo, enjoy cocktail hour on the grande lawn, and celebrate their reception in the amphitheater under market lights.
NAME AN INTERESTING FACT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT CYPRESS GROVE ESTATE HOUSE
We have two buildings. The Estate House and the Grove House which is a smaller property perfect for intimate weddings, baby showers and any celebrations with 50 or less guests.
WHAT SHOULD COUPLES KNOW BEFORE BOOKING?
Weddings take place completely outside at Cypress Grove Estate House. Couples should budget for a tent as a part of their rain plan.
WHAT’S NEW OR ON THE HORIZON FOR CYPRESS GROVE ESTATE HOUSE
We are most looking forward to seeing new rentals from our sister company, RW Style at our upcoming fall weddings! We are excited to get back to weddings of up to 150 guests.
